The Urgent Care Centre at UBC Hospital provides treatment for common illnesses and injuries, such as: Cuts that need stitches Flu Fever Sprains Broken bones Asthma Intravenous (IV) therapy Minor burns Allergies Sports injuries Eye problems Nosebleeds Skin infections Diagnostic services and testing including x-rays, urinalysis and blood tests No appointment is necessary. Adults and children are welcome. Open daily, 8:30 a. m. to 4 p. m. Ages 4+ Drop in only. Nasopharyngeal and saline gargle (for children and adults). For saline test, do not eat, drink, vape, smoke, brush your teeth or chew gum at least 1 hour before the test.
