We are searching for part time forklift operators who are available on call for morning and afternoon shifts. We need licensed counter balance forklift operators who can work part time on call. You must also have a BC Drivers License.

We need a Licensed Forklift Operator for our client location in North Richmond. As soon as possible. This position is an afternoon shift from 3PM to 11PM or a morning shift 7AM to 3PM.

You are on call as needed on a temporary part time basis.

You must be licensed and experienced on a counterbalance forklift.

This location is not an easy commute, but can be done by transit. We are paying $19 per hour.

This facility is working in a covered weather protected area, however you will still feel the cold and be outside, dress for the weather.

This opportunity is a potential Temp to Perm with a large recyclables company. You must be ok working around recyclables and raw recyclable plastics.

You will need to:

- Operate a forklift to move, stack, and retrieve materials within a production environment
- Safely load and unload materials from trucks and storage racks
- Perform routine maintenance on forklifts and other equipment as needed
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with inventory management and order picking as required

Requirements

Qualifications:

• BE LICENSED as a Counter Balance Forklift Operator
  
• Hold a Valid British Columbia Drivers license
  
• Previous Counter Balance Forklift experience operating a forklift in an outdoor and covered area warehouse or production setting
  
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with the role when neededPosses and have readily available Steel TOED Work BOOTS CSA APPROVED and a Valid forklift operator certification
